This is
not about Major Carter as I see her.
The wanton wretch depicted in this story is the
pathetic, scruffy, dishonorable and unprofessional
strumpet with raging teenaged hormones as
presented to us by The Wankers In Charge.
It shows Colonel O'Neill's misguided and
increasingly desperate attempts to extricate
himself from the spider's web of her 'love.'
Neither of them appears in a good light.
HEED THE WARNINGS!

Major Carter goes...
Missing
An A.U. Colonel Carter finds an unhappy Major Sam and
takes her back to her own universe. There, they and the
A.U. S.G.-1 Get Into Trouble. Meanwhile, the disappearance
causes mounting consternation back home...
|
Sam goes solo -
and gets up close
and very personal...
Humour
Rated R for language.

A
Question of Trust
is a gen. tag for 'Window of Opportunity.'
Heaven knows it needed it!
Synopsis: No consequences? Sam deals with aftermath of what happened during
the time loops. Fluffy this isn't, so if it's
romance you're after, stick to Harlequin or Mills & Boon.

Articles and Rants
These are little things which defy explanation, like:
If the Argosians only lived for a hundred days, where did they get their
made-to-measure clothes?
Why is Major I've-Got-A-Copy-Of-Bomb-Defusing-For-Dummies Carter talking
Colonel I'm-Ex-Special-Ops-And-I-Love-Explosives O'Neill through the
deactivation of the bomb?
When O'Neill opened up with his Big Gun and shouted, "Everybody
down!" why didn't the ashrak duck too?
How did Daniel manage to hack into Anubis's computer? Does Anubis use
Microsoft? Is Anubis really Bill Gates?
|
This is just a little rant which I would love to address to
the scriptwriters, producers and directors involved in converting a brilliant
show
- nay, the best sci-fi show ever -
into a two-dimensional comic book that has now, finally, jumped the shark. 8-(

In a phallocratic world, are women merely there for the entertainment of
men? Are we meekly letting ourselves be devalued as people?
An article considering the historical and socio-political implications of
the depiction of women in the visual media, and how it impacts the viewer.

Min dreams on about what Stargate S.G.-1 might have been like if
she'd been in charge.
No 'ship, that's for sure!

"Writing well comes naturally to some people - lucky
buggers! The rest of us have to work at it."
Min's been on a few writing courses and thought it would be
nice to share a few tips that she's found interesting and useful.

An article following the origin, zenith and decline of our beloved S.G.-1.
